Eyler R. Coates, Sr. was most instrumental in using his wonderful writing ability and experiences to carefully rebut the many inaccuracies and misstatements of The Thomas Jefferson Foundation and others.
Because of his excellent writing skills and his sharp analytical mind, Eyler was selected to edit the Thomas Jefferson Heritage Society’s book, The Jefferson-Hemings Myth, An American Travesty. This book will always stand as a beacon to balance an otherwise one-sided perception of Mr. Jefferson.
